Each workshop delves into the history, literature, and geography of the Caribean basin, aiming to educate and inspire reflection on this complex geographic and cultural space defined by its diverse communities.
Our main objective at Visiones del Caribe is to provide educational resources that enable children to learn about and reflect on the Caribbean's multifaceted nature.
Each workshop is structured into three parts:
By the end of each workshop, students are expected to deepen their understanding of Caribbean history, literature, and geography, and to reflect on their own connection to this vibrant region.
Currently, we collaborate with Facultad de Educación de la Universidad de Puerto Rico in San Juan, Puerto Rico; Dr. Carlos Finlay Elementary School in Miami, USA; and Instituto Leonardo Da Vinci in Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic.
